The NHL announced that Flyers captain Claude Giroux has been named to the 2016 NHL All-Star Game.

This is the fourth time Giroux has been honored, he has previously been named in 2011, 2012 and 2015.

Giroux currently leads the Flyers in both goals (12) and points (27) while ranking second on the team with 17 assists and appearing in all 38 games thus far. He also leads all forwards in ice time playing nearly 21 minutes per game.

Since the 2010-11 season, Giroux has led all NHL forwards with 405 points in 408 games played.

The 2016 NHL All- Star Game is set to take place on on January 30-31st in Nashville, TN.

Giroux is the lone Flyers All-Star.
