Dave Weinberg’s Cowboys versus Eagles 2-Minute Drill
Eagles' best number: 0 (Points scored by Cowboys in second half)
Eagles' worst number: 110 (CeeDee Lamb’s receiving yards)
View from my living room:
I prepped for the game by shooting an 89 at Cape May National after playing basketball and baseball and giving our 3-year-old grandson Nixon and horse-y ride in the backyard. No wonder I fell asleep during the weather delay.
Three stars
- Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (2 rushing touchdowns).
- Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (7 catches for 110 yards).
- Cowboys running back Javonte Williams (2 rushing touchdowns).
Eagles’ best play
The team unfurled their Super Bowl championship banner in an electric pregame ceremony.
Eagles’ worst play
Defensive tackle Jalen Carter was ejected before the first play from scrimmage for spitting on Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.
Turning point
The Cowboys were moving toward a possible go-ahead score after ex-Eagle Miles Sanders broke off a 49-yard run. The threat ended on the Eagles’ 11-yard line when Eagles rookie linebacker Jihaad Campbell knocked the ball loose from Sanders and Eagles cornerback Quinyon Mitchell recovered the fumble.
