Eagles' best number: 255 (Saquon Barkley’s franchise-record rushing yards)

Eagles' worst number: 55 (uniform number of defensive end Brandon Graham, who revealed after the game that he will miss the rest of the season with a torn triceps).

View from my living room:

Former Eagles center Jason Kelce made an appearance at my alma mater, Appalachian State University, on Saturday. More importantly, my Mountaineers beat my brother Mark’s alma mater, James Madison, 34-20, thus giving me bragging rights for the year.

Three stars

    1. Eagles running back Saquon Barkley (255 rushing yards, 2 TDs).

    1. Eagles defensive tackle Milton Williams (2 sacks, 2 tackles for loss, 1 forced fumble).

    1. Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua (9 receptions for 117 yards).

Eagles’ best play

Barkley broke the game open on the first play of the second half, when he burst through a hole off a great block by guard Landon Dickerson and raced to the end zone for a 70-yard touchdown.

Eagles’ worst play

The Rams took their only lead at 7-3 in the first quarter on running back Kyren William’s 2-yard run.

Turning point

The Rams were still within striking distance at 20-14 midway through the third quarter. The Eagles took control with a 70-yard drive that ended with running back Kenneth Gainwell’s 13-yard TD that pushed the lead to 27-14.
