PHILADELPHIA (973espn.com) - Despite the Eagles being No. 32 on the waiver-priority list, Philadelphia was able to land some help at linebacker, being awarded D.J. Alexander off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks.

Alexander was a former fifth-round pick of Kansas City back in 2015 and was ultimately traded to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for Kevin Pierre-Louis in July of last year before ultimately being released this summer.

Alexander, an Oregon State product, is known for his special-teams work, being named to the Pro Bowl in 2016.

To make room on the roster the Eagles waived LB Joe Walker.

Philadelphia also cobbled together its 10-man practice squad by bringing back running back Josh Adams, wide receivers Rashard Davis and Greg Ward, tight end Billy Brown, center Jon Toth, defensive end Joe Ostman, defensive tackle Winston Craig, linebacker Asantay Brown, cornerbacks De'Vante Bausby and Chandon Sullivan.
