Eagles heading back to Tampa to face Buccaneers in NFC Wild Card
The Philadelphia Eagles are headed back to Tampa next weekend for Super Wild Card weekend.
The Eagles beat Tampa back in Week 3, 25-11 behind 130 yards from D'Andre Swift, Jalen Hurts was 23 of 37 passing for 277 yards, running for a score and passing for another. A.J. Brown had nine catches for 131 yards.
Tampa gave up 201 yards on the ground on 40 attempts.
Philadelphia, seeded fifth in the NFC as the top Wild Card team, will meet the 9-8 and NFC South champion Buccaneers after beating the Panthers 9-0 in Carolina on Sunday giving the division to the Bucs.
As a result, the Eagles will head to Tampa for the Wild Card round for the second time in three years. Philadelphia went to Tampa during the 2021 Wild Card round, losing 31-15 to a Tom Brady-led Buccaneer team.
The Eagles are a 3-point favorite in the game per ESPN Bet, which will be played on Monday Night at 8pm.
