Eagles hire Sean Mannion as New Offensive Coordinator
After just over a two-week search, the Philadelphia Eagles have found their next offensive coordinator.
The Eagles hired Green Bay Packers quarterback coach Sean Mannion to fill the same role in Philadelphia, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Thursday afternoon.

Who is Sean Mannion? The Path from QB to OC
Mannion was the Packers QB coach the past two seasons in 2024 and was last played during the 2023 season with the Minnesota Vikings. He is credited with the development of Jordan Love and Malik Willis, who played well in place of Love this season.
The one red flag when it comes to Mannion is that he has no play-calling experience and just two years of coaching experience.
The 33-year-old Mannion replaces Kevin Patulo, who was let go on Jan. 13 after one disappointing season as Philadelphia’s OC.
Mannion was one of multiple reported candidates to interview with the Eagles, including three other candidates who reportedly received in-person second interviews. The other candidates who reportedly advanced past the initial round of interviews were Colts OC Jim Bob Cooter, Tampa Bay OC Josh Grizzard, and Texans QB coach Jerrod Johnson.
Mannion has ties to many big-name offensive minds, playing for Rams head coach Sean McVay and Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell before starting his coaching career as quarterbacks coach for the Packers under head coach Matt LaFleur.
