Eagles Training Camp Schedule Details

Inside Sean Mannion's New-Look Offense

The team's new offense will likely be the top story with A.J. Brown no longer in Philadelphia and new first-time play caller Sean Mannion leading the offense.

"Really excited about that room that we have," head coach Nick Sirianni explained. DeVonta Smith has had a really good offseason. I'm really excited about Makai [Lemon] and where he is this offseason. Dontayvion Wicks, I think he has a very unique skillset, he has some Keenan Allen to him and to his game."

Mannion was hired to replace Kevin Pattullo, who was fired after just one season as the offensive coordinator.

"I think the biggest thing we want our offense to look like is we talk about play style a lot, playing with great effort, great physicality, being great teammates. I think it's when you turn on the tape, what does the Eagles' offense look like? Those are the things we really want to stand out just as a broad stroke,” Mannion said on May 21.

Preseason Joint Practices: Facing A.J. Brown in New England

It was also announced that the team will head to New England for a joint practice with the Patriots this preseason. The practice is scheduled for Aug. 19-20, two days before the two teams face each other in the final preseason game for both squads.

On top of getting some work in with another team, the Eagles are also going to get a taste of former wide receiver A.J. Brown now that the ex-Eagle is with the Patriots.
