Over the last decade, the Philadelphia Eagles have built a reputation as having one of the best offensive lines in the National Football League each season.

Led by famous Offensive Line Coach Jeff Stoutland, the Eagles have four different players selected to All-Pro Teams and another four lineman named to the Pro Bowl. The depth of this position group combined with Stoutland's coaching, has elevated the Eagles to three Super Bowl appearances.

But in 2025 Training Camp, the Eagles are facing a new set of challenges on their offensive line. Their continuity and depth has become a question mark thanks to new injuries that have derailed some of the team's plans in August.

Latest on Eagles Offensive Lineman Injuries

On Monday, the news came out that three-time Pro Bowl Selection Landon Dickerson had sustained a knee injury during Sunday Night's open practice with fans in attendance. The good news is that the miniscus injury is considered to be a "minor issue" and the surgery he will undergo will allow him to come back and plan this upcoming season.

Without Dickerson at Left Guard for the next few weeks, the First Team Offense still needs someone to fill the void. Heading into Training Camp, the logical answer for that job would be former first round draft pick Kenyon Green.

Green was acquired by Philadelphia this offseason as part of a trade that sent CJ Gardner-Johnson to the Houston Texans. The 24-year-old Interior Offensive Lineman from Texas A&M struggled during his time in Houston and was expected to be the next project for "Stoutland University".

But Green sustained a Shoulder Injury after playing in the Eagles first preseason game. Multiple reports state that his injury is been labelled "week-to-week" and he will not be available to play in any more preseason games.

Green also suffered a Shoulder Injury in 2023 which kept him from playing that season with the Houston Texans. With both Green and Dickerson out with injuries, veteran offensive lineman Brett Toth took the reps at Left Guard with the Eagles First Team offense at Tuesday's practice.

There is hope in Philadelphia that Dickerson could return to the field in time for Week One of the season on September 4th. Meanwhile, the Eagles could put Green on the Injured Reserve List and give him plenty of time to recover while using that roster spot for other players.

Aside from Brett Toth, the Eagles have gotten Trevor Keegan, Matt Pryor, and Darian Kinnard opportunities at the Guard positions during Training Camp. Pryor has experience playing Guard in NFL games, while Keegan's experience is playing the position during his years at the University of Michigan.

Kinnard has been getting crosstraining at both Tackle and Guard this month. He is a player the Eagles coaching staff likes and could carve out a roster spot as a versatile backup offensive lineman for Philadelphia this season.

As we have previously written about at 973espn.com, Free Agents Brandon Scherff and Shaq Mason could be options for the Eagles to call about coming in for a workout. But considering Dickerson will not miss any significant playing time in the 2025 season, it seems unlikely that Philadelphia would call on the veteran Guards.

Speaking of Eagles players, we have discovered that many New Jersey High School Graduates have played Football in Philadelphia's Green uniforms over the years:
