Eagles injury report: C.J. Gardner-Johnson added as DNP ahead of Saints game
The Philadelphia Eagles have a relatively clean injury report ahead of their Week 3 game against the New Orleans Saints but added safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson to the list on Thursday.
Philadelphia listed Gardner-Johnson as a DNP with a foot issue on Thursday, while wide receivers A.J. Brown and Johnny Wilson both appeared as a DNP on today's report.
Gardner-Johnson signed a three-year deal in the offseason worth up to $33 million l.
He made a key stop in the game on Monday Nigjt against Atlanta and wasn't on the Wednesday injury report, which was an estimate.
If he can't play, the Eagles would have some problems in the secondary, and could move Avonte Maddox to safety and Cooper DeJean to the nickle corner position. Another possibility would be Tristian McCollum, who played a few snaps in the opener when Gardner-Johnson left the game with a hand injury.
