Eagles Must Win This Sunday

The 13-3 Philadelphia Eagles have been the number one team in the conference all year but they still need a win this Sunday against the New York Giants to secure homefield advantage and a first-round bye for the NFC Playoffs.  The Birds face the playoff-bound Giants, who are expected not to play all their starters for the 425pm kickoff.  All eyes are on Eagles Quarterback Jalen Hurts who was a Limited participant at practice this week after missing the last two games due to a shoulder sprain and Friday's Injury Report listed him as "Questionable".  The Eagles have lost two games in a row with backup QB Gardner Minshew. The Eagles are in jeopardy of losing their number one seed and could possibly drop as far down as the number five seed in the playoffs if the Cowboys win on Sunday against Washington.  There's so much on the line this weekend for the Eagles! 

The Philadelphia 76ers and the Flyers have both been playing well recently, which has been a pleasant surprise for many fans.  The Flyers are winners of their last four games since their Christmas Break.  Also good news is that Flyers Forward Kevin Hayes will represent the team at this year's NHL All Star game, his first All-Star Selection of his career.  The Sixers have won 11 of their last 13 games ahead of their next game Friday Night versus the Chicago Bulls and the team have climbed the standings to 5th place in the Eastern Conference, three games behind the first place Boston Celtics.
