Eagles’ OC Brian Johnson gets third head coaching interview
Bill Belichick, Jim Harbaugh or Brian Johnson?
Those are three of the coaches that have interviewed with the Atlanta Falcons about their vacant head coaching job.
Atlanta interviewed the Eagles offensive coordinator today according to multiple reports.
Johnson has interviews with the Carolina Panthers and Tennessee Titans as well.
He isn't even guaranteed to return to the Eagles, with plenty of questions about his future circulating. The team is meeting with head coach Nick Sirianni about his plan to improve the team after going 1-6 in their final seven games, including the playoffs.
Not exactly a ringing endorsement for Johnson to return to Philadelphia.
Johnson led an Eagles offense that finished this season ranked No. 7 in points scored and No. 8 in total yards, but really struggled in the final weeks of the regular season and in the Wild Card loss to Tampa Bay.
