Thanks to the Philadelphia Eagles' victory in Overtime versus the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, they have tied a unique NFL record. If this current trend continues, the Eagles will not just make NFL history, but the franchise will also set themselves apart from most of the league for the month of December.

According to ESPN Stats and Information, Sunday's Eagles win tied the NFL single-season record for longest streak of comeback victories. Philadelphia is only the fourth team in league history to record four consecutive victories after losing at halftime. The other teams who accomplished this were the 2011 Arizona Cardinals, the 2006 Tennessee Titans, and the 1971 Cleveland Browns.

While no Eagles fan wants to see their team losing at halftime, the team deserves credit for making adjustments and finding a way to win.  If Philadelphia defeats the 49ers this Sunday, that will boost their goal of securing Home Field advantage by gaining the number one playoff spot in the NFC Playoffs for the second straight year.  Winning the next few weeks will also help them move up the list of best NFL Teams in the month of December.

The website PennStakes compiled every NFL team's winning percentage in the of December since 2013 and the Philadelphia Eagles are sixth on the list.  With a 25-17 record during the final month of the year, the Eagles have a .595 Winning Percentage. Here is the list of teams ahead of Philadelphia:

1. Green Bay Packers .780 Winning Percentage (32-9)
2. Kansas City Chiefs .773 Winning Percentage (34-10)
3. Dallas Cowboys .667 Winning Percentage (28-14)
4. Pittsburgh Steelers .659 Winning Percentage (29-15)
5. Baltimore Ravens .614 Winning Percentage (27-17)
6. Philadelphia Eagles .595 Winning Percentage (25-17)

Remember only two of the teams on that list have been to a Super Bowl since the 2013 NFL season: Eagles are 1-1 in the biggest game of the season while the Chiefs are 2-1.  Considering that the combination of Head Coach Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts are 32-9 during the regular season, Philadelphia should climb this list, assuming they win at least three of their five games in December:

December 3rd Home versus the San Francisco 49ers
Dec 10th Away versus the Dallas Cowboys
Dec 17th Away versus the Seattle Seahawks
Dec 25th Home versus the New York Giants
Dec 31st Home versus the Arizona Cardinals

Too bad the Eagles will not be wearing their Kelly Green Uniforms the rest of the season - Philadelphia is undefeated in their throwback jerseys.
