Eagles Place Pro Bowler Landon Dickerson on IR After Knee Injury
While the Philadelphia Eagles picked up a hard fought 24-22 win on Sunday over NFC East rival Washington, a lot of the talk after the game was about the play of left guard Landon Dickerson.
Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni addressed Dickerson's physical capability on Monday saying, "Just like every player on our team from yesterday's game and every coach for that matter, there's good moments and there are moments that we've got to fix."

Replacing Dickerson: Potential Offensive Line Shuffles
Dickerson was on a Philadelphia radio station and said he got rolled up on at practice a few weeks ago and admitted that the best plan is to be placed on the IR and be ready for the back stretch of the season.
Dickerson added that this has nothing to do with his injury from last season.
"Can't tell you how much I think of Landon and the player that he is, and particularly that power and that size where he can move guys off the spot against their will," Sirianni stated on Monday.
Dickerson was selected by the Eagles in the second round of the 2021 draft in large part because of his injury history. When healthy he is one of the best left guards in the NFL, making back-to-back Pro Bowls.
This offseason, he went to Medellín, Colombia for stem cell treatment to try and help his balky knee.
However, just one week into the season, he is out with knee issues.
