Eagles Place Two Defensive Players On Injured Reserve

On Friday, the Philadelphia Eagles placed two defensive players on Injured Reserve, opening up slots on the 53-man Active Roster ahead of their game on Sunday Night Football versus the Dallas Cowboys

Nate Gerry has not participated in practices this week due to an Ankle Issue while Genard Avery has been listed as a DNP on the Eagles Injury Report all week.

This is now four players the Eagles have placed on IR this week; Gerry and Avery joins Desean Jackson and Hassan Ridgeway, opening up a total of four roster spots for the 53-man roster.

Also this week, the Eagles have activated the Practice Windows for Dallas Goedert, TJ Edwards, Jalen Reagor, Rudy Ford, and Jason Peters; Safe to assume, four of those players will be brought back to the active roster for Sunday Night Football.  There are multiple reports that Jalen Reagor will play this Sunday while Dallas Goedert and Jason Peters have been active participants at practice this week.
