When the Philadelphia Eagles return to the field on Friday at home against the Chicago Bears, they will be without rookie safety Andrew Mukuba.

According to reports, Mukuba suffered a fracture to his leg late in the game with 35 seconds left, with the score tied 21-21.

"He will be out for some time, we'll see how long," Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said on Monday.

Sydney Brown stepped in for Blankenship in the game and will likely be called on in the game on Friday against the Bears.

Sirianii named Michael Carter, Brown, and some practice squad players as potential options to play on Friday.

The rookie has had a fine season, notching two interceptions, three pass breakups, and 46 tackles.

Cornerback Adoree Jackson was in concussion protocol and will likely not be ready for the game on Friday with a short week.  It will be interesting to see how the team covers for his absence with Kelee Ringo, Jakorian Bennet, and Cooper DeJean as options to play on the outside, with Michael Carter a possibility in the slot. He could also be an option to play safety if Blankenship can't go on Friday.
