PHILADELPHIA (973espn.com) - The Eagles have acquired defensive back Deiondre’ Hall from the Chicago Bears, a move confirmed by Howie Roseman during his press conference on Saturday at the NovaCare Complex.

A conditional 2019 seventh-round draft pick is headed back to Chicago in the trade.

Hall does not immediately count against the 53-man roster limit because he is suspended for the first week of the 2018 season under the league's substance-abuse policy.

Hall, 24, was originally a fourth-round pick in the 2016 draft and projects to be the fourth safety and likely bad news for Tre Sullivan.

In his two seasons with the Bears, Hall appeared in 10 games, making five tackles and adding three passes defensed with one interception.

Eagles vice president of player personnel Joe Douglas was with Chicago when the Bears drafted Hall
