On the same day the Eagles Injury Report showed that Miles Sanders is on track to return for Week Two versus the Los Angeles Rams, reports come out that the team will also bring in a Veteran Running Back for a workout

Freeman is a Two-Time Pro Bowl Selection who led the NFL with 11 Rushing Touchdowns in 2015 and has finished top ten in the league in Yards From Scrimmage twice (2015, 2016).  At 28 Years Old, Freeman played Six Seasons for the Atlanta Falcons where he compiled 32 Rushing Touchdowns and 11 Receiving Touchdowns in 77 Games.

Back in May, NFL Insider Adam Caplan said on The Sports Bash the Eagles would have interest in Devonta Freeman because the team wanted a Veteran Running Back on the roster.  The Eagles roster has four Running Backs who have no more than three years of NFL experience, all the players outside of Corey Clement are 25 years old and younger.
