Flukey Among Top 2026 Draft Prospects
According to MLB.com's Jonathan Mayo, who posts his first MLB Mock Draft for the 2026 draft class, 2023 Egg Harbor Township High School graduate Cameron Flukey is a name to watch in the Top 10.
Anyone who saw Flukey go toe-to-toe with LSU's Kade Anderson in the College World Series put him on the 2026 first-round radar immediately. The 6-foot-6 righty throws a ton of strikes with a fastball up to 98 mph, a distinct upper-70s curve, a low-80s slider and some feel for a mid-80s changeup.
The EHT graduate and Coastal Carolina right-handed pitcher had a breakout season this year, helping the Chanticleers advance to the College Baseball World Series, going pitch-for-pitch with LSU ace Kade Anderson, who was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 MLB Draft.
"CameronFlukey is as good of a right-handed pitcher as there is in the entire country." Coastal Carolina manager Kevin Schnall said during the Chanticleers' World Series run this summer. From EHT Dominance to CWS Breakout
Flukey went 8-2 in 18 games this sophomore season with a 3.19 ERA, 1.003 WHIP, striking out 118 in 101.2 innings pitched with velocity touching up to 98 mph.
During this time at Egg Harbor Township, Flukey was outstanding in his senior season with a 0.45 ERA and 83 strikeouts in 46.1 innings pitched. Overall, in three seasons at EHT, he posted a 1.79 ERA with 159 strikeouts in 93.2 innings pitched.
