The Flyers have signed defenseman Brandon Manning to a one-year, $625,000 contract extension for the 2015-16 campaign - the interesting thing about the deal is that it's a one-way deal, meaning the Flyers might have every intention of keeping him on their roster next season.

Manning, 24, had 43 points and 150 penalty minutes in 58 AHL contests and another three points and seven penalty minutes in 10 games with the Flyers this season.

The Flyers have seven defenders signed now for next season with Manning now joining Mark Streit, Andrew MacDonald, Nicklas Grossmann, Luke Schenn, Nick Schultz and Radko Gudas - Michael Del Zotto is a restricted free agent.
