A hard-fought, tight-checking game resulted in a win for the Flyers in New Jersey in a shootout, getting things back on track, even slightly, as the Flyers snapped a two-game losing streak.

The month of November is going to be a constant test. The Flyers play 16 games in the month, starting with Friday's win, and that includes four sets of back-to-backs. The first of the four back-to-backs concludes on Saturday night on home ice as the Flyers take on the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Game time is at 7 p.m.

If you want to find consistent production on the Flyers so far this season, you turn to the line of Sean Couturier, Oskar Lindblom and Travis Konecny. Lindblom has been leading the way with seven goals, including goals in three of the last five games.
Auston Matthews has continued to be a huge goal-scoring threat. In Toronto's last game on Tuesday, he had three points including a pair of goals against Washington, bringing his season totals to 11 goals and 16 points. Matthews has three goals and six points in seven career games against the Flyers.

Brian Elliott was in for six of the seven goals allowed against the Penguins on Tuesday before being pulled after the second period. Elliott had been playing very well up to that point with wins in three straight starts. He will get the start in the back-end of this back-to-back.

Frederik Andersen has been the Leafs go-to in goal this season, though he has struggled at times. Aside from a win over San Jose where he allowed one goal on just 17 shots faced, Andersen has allowed three goals or more in three of his last four starts, including two overtime losses.
