The Flyers played Saturday's game, a 6-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks, with 12 forwards and six defensemen. The team called up defenseman Phil Myers to add some depth to the roster. On Sunday, they made another roster move to add depth at forward.

The Flyers have recalled forward Justin Bailey from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, GM Chuck Fletcher announced on Sunday morning. Fletcher had said on Saturday that Bailey was playing very well and deserved an opportunity soon, indicating that a call-up was not far away.

Bailey, 23, was acquired by the Flyers on Jan. 17 in a trade with the Buffalo Sabres involving forward Taylor Leier. In 10 games for the Phantoms since the trade, Bailey has five goals and two assists for seven points.

Bailey is 6'4" and 214 pounds, and spent the entire season prior to the trade with the Rochester Americans in the AHL. He played 12 games for the Sabres last season, scoring three goals and adding an assist for four points. In 52 career NHL games, Bailey has five goals and eight points.

Bailey will wear No. 27 for the Flyers and be available for Monday's game. The Flyers host the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday night at 7 p.m.
