So much for the trade rumors that the Flyers are looking to clear space for Sam Morin.

The team sent its 2013 first-round pick back to juniors, narrowing its roster.

Neither Rob Zepp, Jay Rosehill nor Chris VandeVelde were on the ice for practice Friday morning, indicating that they will likely be put on waivers for the purpose of being sent to the AHL's Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

By sending Morin, Zepp and VandeVelde away, the Flyers have themselves a 23-man roster. If Rosehill also gets waived, the Flyers would pare the roster down to 22.

Morin, 19, was impressive during his five preseason games with the Flyers. He had four penalty minutes and 10 shots, but coach Craig Berube was more impressed with how the 6-foot-7, 224-pound defenseman handled himself physically.
