Former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver John Hightower has landed in LA with the Chargers.

The former fifth-rounder was among the Eagles' final cuts back in August.

He played 13 games with the team his rookie season and showed some deep threat ability, catching 10 balls for 167 yards in 2020, good for 16.7 yards per catch.

The Eagles have added plenty of talent at the wide receiver position the past two years including DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown the past two offseasons. Hightower was ahead of sixth-round pick Quez Watkins as a rookie, but Watkins surpassed him on on the depth chart and has become a key member of the Eagles offense.

Watkins has two catches for 69 yards and a touchdown so far this season for the Eagles.
