The New York Jets should be in the market for a quarterback.

With starting QB Geno Smith got his jaw broken by a sucker punch from his teammate on Tuesday morning, the team is only left with journeyman Ryan Fitzpatrick and rookie Bryce Petty.

That's when former New York Giants QB Jared Lorenzen decided to try and seize opportunity.

Lorenzen, nicknamed "The Hefty Lefty" took to Twitter and openly made his case for the Jets to sign him by perfectly stating how "great" he looks in the color green:

Lorenzen didnt stop there, though. The "Hefty Lefty" then went on to further how ready he is by tweeting out a clothing line he has ready to go:

He does look good in that green, doesn't he?

Of course Smith will miss 6-10 weeks after getting sucker punched in the locker room by LB Ikemefuna "IK" Enemkpali, who was immediately released by the team after the incident.

The Jets have already contacted Rex Grossman and Tyler Thigpen to gauge their interest in a possible workout or contract signing.

Lorenzen remains available.
