Gnarly! Ron Jon Surf Shop Coming to Ocean City NJ

Ron Jon, one of the Jersey Shore's most beloved surf shops is reportedly planning an expansion to Ocean City!

I don't even surf and I love getting lost in the Ron Jon Surf Shop on Long Beach Island. I may not want to SURF, but sometimes I wanna dress like I could. I don't think I'll ever outgrow my obsession with Baja pullovers. It's a vibe, right?

That's New Jersey's ONLY Ron Jon store, but not for long.

It's very cool to hear that Ron Jon will be opening a location in Ocean City. According to Patch.com, Ron Jon will be setting up shop at 8th and Asbury, right in the heart of the resort town.

Even though Ron Jon will be off the Ocean City Boardwalk, it will still give stores like 7th Street Surf Shop and other businesses catering to the surfing crowd some competition.

Little is known about the Ocean City Ron Jon, for instance, when it will open, but marketing director Heather Lewis assured fans that, "As we move down the road, we'll have more details," Patch.com reports.

The OG Ron Jon Surf Shop, which opened in 1961, is located at 9th and Central Avenue in the Ship Bottom section of LBI.
