According to a tweet from Dan Russoman, sports editor of The Hammonton Gazette, long time Hammonton high school football coach Pete Lancetta has stepped down.

Lancetta was 215-65-1 in 27 seasons with the Blue Devils,


The Press of Atlantic City:

"No one will ever replace Pete," Parks said. "They will forever remember Pete Lancetta, but Hammonton football is still going to be Hammonton football. Because that's what he built."
