North Wildwood Police arrested a local high-end realtor Thursday on charges including theft, deception, and money laundering after a six-month investigation.

North Wildwood Police arrested realtor Steven DiPeso on a host of charges after a six-month investigation, according to a release.

DiPeso's charges included theft, theft by deception, money laundering, computer crimes, failure to make a lawful disposition, and corporate misconduct.

DiPeso was arrested after police and the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office executed a search warrant at the Champagne Island Resort condos, according to the Press of Atlantic City.

He is being held in the Cape May County Correctional Facility.

Realtor Has a History of Deals With Large Corporations

Steven DiPeso has an accounting degree from Stockton University and worked advising companies such as Universal Studios, Dave and Busters, Six Flags Theme Parks, and BET Investments before moving into real estate, according to his LinkedIn bio.

After beginning his real estate career with American Eagle Realty in Avalon, DiPeso moved to Compass Realty in 2022.

No other specific details of the crimes he is being accused of have been released by authorities.
