Dave Weinberg’s Eagles-Dolphins 2-minute drill
Eagles' best number: 4 (Sacks by Eagles defense)
Eagles' worst number: 2 (Jalen Hurts turnovers)
View from my living room:
I spent Sunday night switching back-and-forth between the Eagles game on Sunday Night Football and Rangers-Astros Game 6 of the ALCS. I tuned in just in time to see Adolis Garcia's grand slam that gave the Rangers a 9-2 victory. That means Monday's Phillies-Diamondbacks Game 6 of the NLCS will start at 5:07 p.m. at Citizens Bank Park.
Three stars
1. Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown (10 receptions for 137 yards, 1 TD).
2. Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (11 receptions for 88 yards, 1 TD).
3. Eagles defensive end Josh Sweat (2 sacks).
Eagles' best play
Eagles cornerback Darius Slay foiled a Dolphins drive with an interception in the fourth quarter that preserved a 24-17 lead.
Eagles' worst play
Hurts lost a fumble earlier in the game and also threw an interception off a deflection that Dolphins linebacker Jerome Baker returned 22 yards for a TD that tied the game at 17-17 in the third quarter.
Turning point
The Eagles converted two fourth-and-one plays by using the "Brotherly Shove" sneak during a late drive that ended with Kenneth Gainwell's 3-yard TD in the fourth quarter that stretched the lead to 31-17.
