The Items That Made These 12 South Jersey Bakeries Famous

We are lucky to have so many good bakeries here in South Jersey. I was curious about the one item some of those bakeries made that helped to build their reputation in the community.

Did One Item Really Make These Bakeries Famous?

In most cases, I would probably say no. In order to run a successful bakery, you have to do most things really well. Everything these bakeries make is delicious. But, they still have developed a reputation for certain menu items.

How Did We Pick One Item to Focus on from These Bakeries?

It wasn't easy to do. That's what you call a good problem to have. When there are so many delicious things to eat that it's hard to pick just one, the owners of those bakeries are hitting on all cylinders.

To answer the question, though, I relied on the responses I received from questions about bakeries that I asked on social media and I listened to the folks I know who are passionate about their bakeries.

What About Other South Jersey Bakeries?

The 12 bakeries included in this article are excellent, but they aren't the only good bakeries in South Jersey. I tried to choose some really good bakeries from around  Atlantic, Cape May, and Cumberland counties.

I didn't even get to lower Ocean County.
