
Man Charged After Alleged Armed Confrontation at South Jersey Wawa
Charges have been filed in an alleged armed road rage incident that took place in a South Jersey Wawa parking lot.
The Glassboro Police Department said the scene unfolded around 3:30 on the afternoon of November 30th.
Parking Dispute Inside Wawa Leads to Confrontation
The victim in this incident told officers that he was arguing with a man, later identified as Jeremy Siciliano, inside the store over a parking issue.
Cops say the pair continued to argue in the parking lot. As the victim was standing in front of Siciliano's vehicle, Siciliano got in, lifted what was believed to be a gun, and pointed it at him through the windshield, according to officials.
Victim Follows Suspect
He then allegedly drove away, headed towards Washington Township, while being followed by the victim, who was relaying real-time information to authorities.
The Washington Township Police Department conducted a felony motor vehicle stop and detained Siciliano. His vehicle was towed by Glassboro police and he was released pending an investigation.
On December 1st, Siciliano’s vehicle was searched and detectives said they located a handgun matching the description that was provided during the course of the investigation.
Charges Filed
Siciliano was charged with the following:
- Possession of Weapon for Unlawful Purpose
- Aggravated Assault w/ Human Indifference
- Possession of Large Capacity Magazine
- Terroristic Threats
Sicialiano was placed under arrest and lodged in the Salem County Jail.
The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
