Vineland Woman Killed After Being Struck by Car on Landis Ave.

Vineland, N.J. — A 52-year-old Vineland woman is dead after being struck by a vehicle on West Landis Avenue Saturday night.

Leslie F. Willoe was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Vineland Police Department. The driver of the vehicle that was involved, 27-year-old Sidney M. Baez of Millville, was not hurt.

Accident Details

Vineland Police said they responded to the area of West Landis Avenue and Mill Road around 9:15 PM.

Investigators determined that Baez was driving a black 2021 Honda Accord eastbound on West Landis Avenue in the outside lane when her vehicle struck Willoe.

No criminal charges have been filed.

Investigation Continues

The investigation has been turned over to the Vineland Police Department's Traffic Unit. Anyone with information about this accident is asked to call (856) 691-4111.
