Over seven months since Carson Wentz tore his ACL and LCL in Week 14 versus the Rams, the 25 Year Old Quarterback has displayed remarkable progress in his recovery as he has been an active participant at Minicamp in June and so far the first few days of Training Camp.  Entering his third season in the NFL, Wentz already owns the Eagles' franchise record for most Touchdown Passes in a season (33) and finished top five in NFL in Passer Rating with 101.9 during the 2017 season.

Philly Voice Eagles Beat Writer Jimmy Kempski joined The Sports Bash on Friday discussing what he has seen from Carson Wentz so far this offseason:

"For me, it was all about kind of watching Carson Wentz which I guess everyone did yesterday too - There was that erroneous report that he was gonna be put on the Physically Unable to Perform List. That was garbage, the Eagles were never considering that at any point. Doug Pederson said that he has no idea where that report came from and there was never any consideration for that. From my view, when Carson Wentz first started practicing back in May during OTA’s and Minicamp, just across the board unanimously all the media people kind of agreed that he was way further along than any of us expected him to be. I think that kind of holds true to today. He certainly looks very confident in terms of throwing the football and putting weight on his front foot when he steps into his throws. That wasn’t the case back in May. He’s got better at that as OTA’s and Minicamp kind of moved along and now he’s throwing with total confidence. I think he’s moving around a lot better than he did in June in terms of when he runs and agility drills - I would be very surprised if he did not start Week One. There’s gonna be questions on whether he should play in any of the preseason games. I don’t think he will and I don’t think he needs to and again, I’d be very surprised if he’s not ready to go Week One."
