Latest Pro Bowl News Reveals How Popular Eagles Barkley Is

In his first season with the Philadelphia Eagles, Saquon Barkley is having the best season for a Running Back in Franchise History.

After breaking Lesean McCoy's single-season Rushing Yards records through the first 13 games this season, Barkley leads the NFL with the most Rush Yards per game with 120.6 and Total Yards with 1,688 Rushing Yards.

If Barkley continues to average 120 Rushing Yards per game over the next three weeks, he will become just the ninth player in NFL history with 2,000 Rushing Yards in a single season. Saquon is currently 417 Yards behind the single-season record of 2,105 Rushing Yards set by Eric Dickerson in 1984.

Saquon Barkley's Popularity At An All-Time High

As of NFL Week 15, the Eagles Running Back Saquon Barkley has the Top Selling NFL Plater Jersey. Barkley is ahead of six popular NFL Quarterbacks including Buffalo Bills' Josh Allen and Kansas City Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes who in the Top Ten Selling NFL Player Jerseys.

That popularity for Barkley has also allowed him to ascend to the top of the Pro Bowl Voting for the 2024 NFL season. With 108,016 votes so far, Saquon is 1,017 votes ahead of Baltimore Ravens Quarterback Lamar Jackson (106,999).

The Philadelphia Eagles have the fifth most total Pro Bowl votes by any NFL team. They are behind the Detroit Lions, Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Minnesota Vikings.

Despite the high volume of votes for Eagles players, the only other Philadelphia player on track to be a starter at this year's Pro Bowl is Zack Baun. In his first year starting at Linebacker for the Eagles, Baun is the top vote-getter at Inside Linebacker for the NFC.

The Eagles, who have won 10 straight games for the first time in Franchise History, are one of the favorites to represent the NFC in this season's Super Bowl. If the Eagles earn the opportunity to play in New Orleans, you will likely see zero Philadelphia players at the Pro Bowl.
