The high school football season returns this Friday night as a pair of teams heading in opposite directions teams face-off in Atlantic City when the Vikings host the St. Augustine Prep Hermits.

The Hermits are coming off an impressive 33-6 win over Millville, while Atlantic City was overwhelmed by Mainland 49-14.

This is a big matchup in the Cape-Atlantic League American Conference, and for playoff positioning – both schools have their sights set on the American Conference title, but an AC loss pretty much eliminates them from any title contention and could remove them from the Group IV playoff picture..

St. Augustine knocked off the Vikings 45-22 last year in route to their 8-2 season, Atlantic City finished 6-4 and looks to avenge that loss.
