Tickets for MAAC Basketball Championships in Atlantic City on Sale Now

One of the signature sports events is returning to Atlantic City this March, and you can secure your tickets now for the event.

New Dates and Schedule for the 2026 Tournament

For the seventh consecutive year, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships will take place March 5-10, 2026, at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. 

The dates are a week earlier than past MAAC Tournaments, and will open on a Thursday this season, with the championship games on Monday for the women and Tuesday for the men's title game.

All-session tickets are available for fans who would like to see multiple sessions throughout the championship. All-session ticket packages range from $125 to $230, plus additional online fees.

Atlantic City Hopes to Remain the MAAC Host

This is the final season the tournament is scheduled to be held in Atlantic City, but when I spoke to MAAC Commissioner Travis Tellitocci back in March, he emphasized the appeal of Atlantic City as a host with hopes of staying here moving forward.

He praised Atlantic City’s status as a tourist destination, its neutral-site setup, and the quality lodging available for teams and league officials.

Last season, men’s teams stayed at Ocean Casino Resort while the women’s teams were housed at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
