Today is Record Store Day!

In 1998, when I was in my early 20's, I had a job working at "The Wall" at the King of Prussia Mall.

I would do my internship at 610-WIP in Philadelphia, then drive to the KOP Mall so I had a few bucks in my wallet for the weekend. It was always a great time getting to pick out what CD (remember them) you were going to play during your shift.

Was I going to play some Radiohead, Dave Mathews, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, maybe the Doors, or maybe some CCR.

Places like The Wall and Sam Goody don't really exist anymore, but there are still great places to check out to find some music.

NJ.com put together a list of the 37 best record shops in New Jersey, with one independently owned and operated place in Mays Landing making the list.

The Rock Shop at the Hamilton Mall.

The Rock Shop is a chain of independently owned record stores with two locations in Pennsylvania and one right in Mays Landing. The stores sell new and used vinyl records, CDs, turntables, t-shirts, posters and all kinds of rock memorabilia.

It's a great place to find some great music, albums, T-shirts, posters, rock memorabilia and more.

We had a 90's grunge themed party for New Years this year and got all our decorations from The Rock Shop.

Here are the posters we got for the party:
