Millville freshman wide receiver Lotzier Brooks still has one more game left to play and has already had a record breaking season.

The Thunderbolts talented wideout recent broke the South Jersey freshman receiving mark, with 938 yards in a season.  He broke the previous mark of 861 yards, set in 2019 by Pennsauken high's Ejani Shakir, per South Jersey football historian Chuck Langerman.

On Tuesday, he picked up his ninth Division I football offer, this time with Syracuse University interested in his services.

Brooks has offers so far from Kentucky, Texas A&M, Pittsburgh, Boston College, Rutgers, Temple and West Virginia.

With one game remaining, Brooks has the chance to become the first ever freshman to eclipse the 1,000 yard mark in a season.

Overall he has 38 catches for 938 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Brooks is part of an offense that also features LeQuint Allen, a Syracuse commit, who ran for 1,659 yards and 22 touchdowns.  Quarterback Nate Robbins became the first Millville passer to eclipse the 2,000 yard mark, with 2,509 and 29 touchdowns this season.

In addition to Brooks, his teammate Ta'Ron Haile also received an offer from Syracuse, which is his seventh overall offer. The Sophomore had 19 catches for 277 yards and three scores this season with one game still remaining.

Its been a special season for both Brooks and his Millville teammates, who will face Winslow Twp., on Sunday at 5 p.m. at Rutgers in a Regional Championship game.
