A new spot will be opening in time for summer in Sea Isle City.

From Laundry to Açaí: A Fresh Look for Landis Avenue

Goodness Bowls will be opening their second Cape May County location, this one at 5011 Landis Ave, which was formerly the site of Sea Isle Laundry. They will be across the street from Azzurra Pizza.

A Growing Franchise in the Delaware Valley

The Sea Isle spot will be one of three new franchise locations opening this summer in the Delaware Valley, with Haddon Township and Paoli also set to open.

They also have a spot at 2713 Dune Drive in Avalon, which was started by mother and daughter, Sue and Corinne Persichetti, and was the first shop in the franchise back in 2019.

What’s on the Menu? Açaí, Pitaya, and More

They are a healthy food option known for their classic açaí bowls, green bowls, Pitaya bowls, protein-packed smoothies, toasts, and salads. Some of my favorite options at Goodness Bowls include the Nutty Nutella, Avalon Bowl, and the Buddha Bowl.

Here is what Persichetti told the Philadelphia Business Journal about the potential of more Jersey Shore locations in the future

"There's just so many people and so little food available down there, especially healthier options," she added. "It's like Boardwalk food, funnel cakes, pizza, French fries, Wawa. So people are actively really seeking this type of food out."

Now Hiring for the 2026 Summer Season

The new Sea Isle spot is hiring for the summer season, and you can apply by clicking the link here.

The hope is that Goodness Bowls will open over Memorial Day weekend.

Remember These Places That Use To Be In Sea Isle City, New Jersey

Thanks in part to the Ash Wednesday Storm of 1962 and Hurricane Sandy in 2012, Sea Isle City has seen many changes over the years. Whether you grew up in South Jersey or vacationed multiple summers in Sea Isle City, you may remember some of these buildings and businesses that no longer exist. Which ones below do you remember most? (Special Thank you to the Sea Isle Historical Museum for helping me get these pictures and information)
