After four successful events in the Tropicana Atlantic City Showroom, Boxing Insider Promotions will be hosting their fifth fight card this summer, featuring multiple fighters from the South Jersey region.

The 2024 NYSHOF Promoter of the Year, Larry Goldberg, is originally from Margate and has established himself as a staple of the boxing scene in Atlantic City over the last 15 months. Along with hosting multiple professional boxing events, he has also hosted the Atlantic City PAL Amateur Boxing showcase, which was also in the Tropicana Atlantic City Showroom.

The next Boxing Insider Promotions event at Tropicana Atlantic City will again feature multiple local fighters in action, along with a World Boxing Council (WBC) Belt on the line this summer.

Three New Jersey Boxers and Two Philadelphia Fighters Scheduled To Compete

On Friday, July 25th, Boxing Insider Promotions presents the Boxing Showcase of the Summer inside Tropicana Showroom in Atlantic City with the Main event featuring a matchup for the WBC Junior Flyweight title.

Before the main event on July 25th, there are a few fighters from the South Jersey region who are scheduled to be in action inside the Tropicana Showroom in Atlantic City:

-Undefeated Heavyweight Bruce Seldon Jr. has proven he is more than just the son of the former Heavyweight Champion.  "The AC Express” is a graduate from Absegami High School and has five knockout victories on his resume. Making his fourth appearance at Tropicana Atlantic City, Seldon Jr will be competing in his first six-round professional boxing bout.

-Philadelphia Super Lightweight Daiyaan Butt has won 10 straight fights heading into his next matchup on July 25th. With an overall 20-2 record, "Badshah" is a Temple University graduate and works as a Technology Risk Consultant. Trained by Raul Rivas, Butt is the National Boxing Association (NBA) America's Champion at Junior Welterweight (140 lbs).

-From Franklin Township, New Jersey, is Undefeated Boxer Cali Box. After his win over Victor Pradis on March 22nd at the Tropicana Showroom, Box returns to Atlantic City four months later with a 5-0 record. When he is not Boxing, Cali works as a Barber.

-Christian Ortiz is an undefeated Welterweight Boxer from Philadelphia. The 20-year-old already has four knockout victories, and July 25th will be his second boxing bout of 2025.

-Pleasantville Boxer Julio Sanchez III is returning to the Tropicana Showroom in Atlantic City after his Pro Debut victory in March. He is scheduled to face Veteran Alexander Stone on July 25th.

The main event features Bronx-born Andy Dominguez matched up with Veteran Nicaraguan boxer Byron Rojas. There is an almost decade age difference between the two boxers who will be fighting to win the WBC US Junior Light Flyweight Silver title on July 25th.
