A new South Jersey brewery is set to open this weekend, giving people a new option just in time for the holiday season.

Back in April, we told you about Bullhide Brewery in Salem County, and it appears it is about to open at 761 Route 40 across from the famous Cowtown Rodeo in Pilesgrove.

They made an announcement on social media that they are opening with a soft opening on Thursday (today) and Friday (tomorrow).

License in hand and we are officially open! We'll be open 'til 9pm tonight so stop by for beer and brand new Bullhide Brewery hats, tees, and sweatshirts!

A Long-Awaited Debut in Salem County

This brewery has been years in the making, with the first mention of breaking ground back in 2020.  After COVID and some roadblocks, Bullhide again tried to open in 2023, and by 2024, they were ready to start building.

By the end of 2024, it seemed they were ready to open, with postings about hiring.

"We're looking for enthusiastic beertenders and laborers to join our team in downtown Cowtown."

However, more challenges emerged, and the third brewery in Salem County spent most of 2025 dark - until now.

Planning Your Visit: Hours and Location

They will be closed on Mondays but open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from noon to 9 p.m., Thursdays through Saturday from noon to 11 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m.

I look forward to checking them out and will hopefully be there during the 2025 holiday season.
