New Jersey ranks among worst for emergency medical wait times
Studies have revealed that one-third of Americans will avoid doctors' visits even when medical care is necessary. Numerous reasons, from anxiety to time constraints to expensive co-pays, cause people to avoid visiting their Primary Care Physician, Urgent Care, and the Emergency Room.

The research team at Nursa found that the United States average for Emergency Medical wait time is 2 hours and 35 minutes. But in some states, the wait times are much longer.
