Collective Soul Postpones August 29 Show at Ocean Casino Resort

"Due to an illness in the band, the Collective Soul show on Saturday, August 29 is being postponed," the casino announced, noting that a "new date will be announced soon."

"All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled performance. Please hold on to your tickets and stay tuned for additional details," according to the casino.

The show was supposed to start at 8 p.m. with doors opening at 7 p.m at Ovation Hall inside Ocean Casino with special guests The Summit.

Collective Soul burst onto the scene in 1993 with their hit single “Shine,” and followed that up with songs like “December,” “The World I Know,” and “Where the River Flows.”

I saw the band live on August 30, 2025 at Ocean Casino and really enjoyed the show.  They played alongside Our Lady Peace and Live.

It was one of the five shows I was looking forward to seeing in 2026, but I wasn't able to go because of a scheduling conflict.  So I guess this is a blessing in disguise for me, as I hope to be able to attend on the new date.
