Villanova Head Men's Basketball Coach Jay Wright has his Wildcats dancing again!  The four teams that have descended on New Orleans for this year's NCAA Tournament Final Four are all big-time programs: Duke, North Carolina, Kansas, and Villanova have combined for seven national championships in the last 14 years.  In fact, Kansas just passed Kentucky for the most all-time wins in men's college basketball history.  However, since 2016, Jay Wright and his Wildcats are 20-3 playing in the tournament with two National Championship wins.  Not too shabby for a school with a student population of 7,000.

One reason this year's Villanova team is finding success is at the foul line; Against Houston, the Wildcats were a perfect 15-15 from the Charity Stripe.  The 1983-84 Harvard Basketball team holds the best free throw percentage at 82.2%.  Villanova's free throw percentage so far this season is at 83.0% so if that continues it bodes well for the Wildcats to hold the record for the best free-throw shooting team in NCAA history. Let’s Go Cats!!

The Sixers are losers of their last three games after a disappointing loss Thursday Night in Detroit.  What is the problem?? Their 3 point shooting percentage is 35.8% in the last three games and they have been outscored in the fourth quarter of each of the last three games. We’ll investigate what is the root of their recent struggles.
