With the win, Philadelphia pulls ahead of Minnesota, eliminating them from catching the Eagles in the win column and guarantees Philadelphia will have a top-7 record in the NFC.

Philadelphia could be the No. 6 seed with a win next week against Dallas and a San Francisco loss to the Rams in Week 18.

The berth marks the fourth time Philadelphia is back in the playoffs in five seasons. The team also made the postseason in 2017, 2018, 2019, before missing last year, going 4-11-1.

It’s also the team’s 28th playoff appearance in franchise history.

With the win, Philadelphia is guaranteed a winning season for the fourth time since 2017 and 17th time under Jeffrey Lurie’s ownership.

The Eagles’ 17 winning seasons since 1995 are tied for the 5th-most in the league, behind New England (23), Green Bay (20), Indianapolis (19), and Pittsburgh (19*).

The last time Philadelphia registered at least four winning seasons over a five-year span was from 2006-10 under Andy Reid.

If the standings hold as is, they will be on the road throughout the playoffs and be in L.A. to face the Rams in the Wild Card round of the playoffs on the weekend of Jan 15.
