After the Philadelphia Eagles captured their second straight NFC East title, marking the first repeat champion in the NFC East in 20 seasons (Eagles, 2001-04), snapping the longest streak without a repeat champion for any division across the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB.

The Return of the Trenches

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Eagles are set to get some reinforcements to their roster with the return of a pair of Pro Bowl starters, defensive tackle Jalen Carter and right tackle Lane Johnson.

With Carter out, the Eagles have gotten good snaps from veteran Brandon Graham at defensive tackle, and he has delivered three sacks, giving the Eagles a new weapon on the interior of their defensive line.

As for Johnson, the team's record with and without him in the lineup has been well documented, with Fred Johnson stepping in during his absence.

Getting both these guys back should give both sides of the ball a remarkable lift as they look to finish the season strong, heading into the playoffs.
