Flyers vs. Hurricanes Preview: Stormy Weekend

The Flyers closed out a 2-2-2 homestand on Saturday night against the Carolina Hurricanes. Less than 24 hours later, the two teams meet again, as the Flyers start a four-game road trip.

Game time is 5 p.m.

Travis Sanheim continues to play big minutes and pick up some points along the way. Sanheim is on a three-game points streak with five assists in the last five games.

Seth Jarvis has just four points over the last seven games, but continues to deliver goals for Carolina. He leads the team with 18 on the season, including a goal in the third period on Saturday.

Dan Vladar is expected to get the start for the Flyers. Vladar made 18 saves on 21 shots in an overtime loss to the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday.

Brandon Bussi is expected to get the start for Carolina. Bussi made 23 saves on 25 shots in a win over Washington on Thursday in his last start. Bussi is on a personal eight-game winning streak. He has allowed more than three goals only once this season in 11 starts. Bussi has also allowed only seven goals in his last five starts.
