
Flyers vs. Kings Preview: Dry January
Three games remain for the Philadelphia Flyers before the Olympic break. Everyone sure looks like they could use it.
The Flyers have now lost 10 of the last 12 games, going 2-8-2 during that stretch. The final three games before the break will all be on home ice. It starts on Saturday afternoon, as they take on the Los Angeles Kings.
Game time is at 12:30 p.m.
Travis Konecny has been red hot of late. He has 16 goals in the last 27 games, including scoring seven of the last 22 goals the Flyers have scored since Jan. 17.
Adrian Kempe leads the Kings with 18 goals and 41 points. He is currently on a five-game points streak.
Dan Vladar is expected to start for the Flyers. Vladar made 26 saves on 30 shots in a loss to Columbus on Wednesday.
Darcy Kuemper is expected to start for the Kings. Kuemper made 28 saves on 31 shots in a loss to Buffalo on Thursday in his last start.

- Flyers: Sam Ersson's status is still to be determined after he left the game on Thursday with an injury. If Ersson is unable to back up, the team will recall Aleksei Kolosov. Any other lineup changes will be known closer to game time.
- Kings: Kenny Connors will make his NHL debut. No other lineup changes are expected.
