Flyers vs. Kraken Preview: Back to Business
The Flyers last played on Tuesday night before entering the NHL's holiday break. After spending Saturday heading back on the road and getting one practice in before returning to game action, they are back on the ice on Sunday night to resume play against the Seattle Kraken.
The Flyers closed out the pre-break portion of the schedule well with back-to-back regulation wins and are now looking to get back to business.
Game time is at 8 p.m.
Travis Konecny comes into Sunday's game with points in 11 of the last 13 games. During that stretch, he has five multi-point games and a total of six goals and 16 points.
Eeli Tolvanen has just five goals on the season, including just two goals since Nov. 15, but has been picking up plenty of assists. Tolvanen is on a five-game points streak entering Sunday and has nine assists in the last 10 games.
Dan Vladar is expected to start for the Flyers. Vladar made 23 saves on 25 shots in a win over Vancouver on Monday. Vladar also picked up a win against Seattle on Oct. 20, making 21 saves on 23 shots.
Joey Daccord gets the start for Seattle. Daccord made 35 saves on 37 shots in his last start on Tuesday against the Kings. Daccord allowed five goals on 21 shots in a loss to the Flyers on Oct. 20.
