The Philadelphia Phillies begin a three-game interleague series on Friday night as they host the Toronto Blue Jays, who are on a three-game road winning streak, at Citizens Bank Park.

Suárez vs. Gausman: A Look at the Starting Pitchers

The Phillies will hand the ball to left-hander Ranger Suárez, while the Blue Jays counter with veteran right-hander Kevin Gausman.

Suárez has been excellent since starting the season on the injured list. The 28-year-old enters the night with a 4-1 mark, a 2.70 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and 38 strikeouts in 41.1 innings pitched.  On the other side, Gausman enters the game with a 5-4 record, with a 3.87 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, and 73 strikeouts in 76.2 innings pitched in 2025.
