Major League Baseball has released it's 2013 schedule.

The Philadelphia Phillies will hold it's Opening Day Friday, April 5th against the Kansas City Royals.

The game is scheduled for 4:05 p.m.

The team will open the season in Atlanta against the Braves four days earlier on Monday, April 1st.

With the Houston Astros moving to the American League and becoming a member of the AL West, interleague play will be throughout the season.

The Phillies will host: the Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, and Kansas City Royals. The team will travel to four American League cities including: Boston, Cleveland, Detroit and Minnesota.

Many times for these 2013 games are to be determined.

The Phillies will end the 2013 season with a six game road trip against the Miami Marlins and Atlanta Braves September 23-29.
